DWR Within Reach. for Real!

Modernophiles, rejoice: in another sign the STL is emerging as a shopping destination, Design Within Reach opens tomorrow morning at 10 am in their shiny, new Central West End location. The next nearest DWR studio is in Chicago, so this is big news for high-design freaks. Home and office designs from the likes of Eames and Mies van der Rohe, formerly available only by catalog or visit to another city, can now be snapped up at the new location at 42 Maryland Plaza, which is a great re-use of the long-ago department store space.
