Perchance to Knit

Fans of the needle arts may already have the day blocked off on their calendars, but the rest of you should know that this weekend marks the debut of another chic yarn shop in the Lou: Knitty Couture opens the doors at 6148 Delmar (right near the Pageant) this Saturday from 11-6. Brands promised in the new space include Louet, Manos, Jamieson Shetland, Fleece Artist and much more. Also intriguing? The website's promise of "local, handmade pastries." (Maybe that's to keep the non-knitters all sugared up and happy?)
